CHERISE

British singer and songwriter CHERISE, recognised as one of the most promising voices in Soul and Jazz in the UK, will perform in Matosinhos on 13 July at 6pm, at the Jardim Basílio Teles. At just 27 years old, she already has an impressive career, having shared the stage with artists such as Michael Kiwanuka and Jamie Cullum, and collaborated with Gregory Porter on the recording of Disney’s Christmas campaign. Named “Vocalist of the Year” by both Jazz FM and the Parliamentary Jazz Awards, CHERISE has been winning over European audiences with striking live performances, including at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival. Her latest album, Butter (2024), further strengthens her artistic identity, alongside hit tracks like Remedy, Secrets, and Paradise.
